As of Saturday night, the Kansas City Chiefs have attracted 60% of the bets and 68% of the money in advance of their Super Bowl matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (OddsFire)
The Chiefs are three-point favorites over the Buccaneers, per BettingPros consensus odds. The total is slightly more lopsided than the spread, as the over 56 has attracted 69% of the bets ans 72% of the money. Given that this is the first ever Super Bowl matchup between the top two passing offenses in the league, it is no surprise to see the betting public will expect plenty of points. Perhaps the most surprising betting split is the even 50/50 split on the moneyline. Whereas only 32% of bettors are taking Tampa Bay with the points, it seems the strongest Tampa Bay backers are eschewing the point spread and opting for more value with +140 moneyline odds.
