DraftKings Sportsbook is reporting good two-way action on the point spread for Thursday night’s Week 8 matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.

Betting Impact:

Per DraftKings, Arizona's -6.5 point spread has received 51% of the bets and 60% of the handle thus far. Though these betting splits signify that the slightly larger wagers have come in on the favored Cardinals, the sportsbook will be thrilled with a 60/40 handle split at kickoff, as they would not have much liability on either side. The point spread rose from an initial opening of -3.5 to -6.5 after the news of Packers wide receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. However, it appears the sportsbook found the right number to raise it to and still attain their goal of getting equal action on both sides.
