Futures odds change after Bears upset the Buccaneers

The Chicago Bears took advantage of many of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ miscues and secures a big home upset 20-19 on Thursday night.

Betting Impact:

The win improved Chicago’s record to 4-1 while the loss dropped Tampa Bay to 3-2. Despite Chicago being just a half-game back of the first place Packers, the Bears still have odds of +350 to win the division. This suggests that oddsmakers and not fully believers in them just yet. The Buccaneers were the first winning team that Chicago has beaten, as their other three wins came against teams that are a combined 1-11. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers went from +100 co-favorites with the Saints to win the NFC South, to now having odds of +130 to win the division.
