The Philadelphia Eagles have opened as -3.5 point road favorites for their Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions, with an over/under of 48.5 points, per BettingPros consensus odds.

Betting Impact:

The Lions fought valiantly against the Rams last week, but still remain the only winless team left in the league. Jared Goff is now 0-14 all-time as a starting quarterback without Sean McVay as his head coach. Meanwhile, the Eagles (2-5) are off to their worst start since 1999. The Eagles are 3-4 both ATS and O/U. The Lions are 4-3 ATS, and the under has cashed in five of their first seven games.
