The Indianapolis Colts handed the Chicago Bears their first loss of the season in Week 4 and in the process moved a half game back of the idle Tennessee Titans for first place in the AFC South.

Betting Impact:

Despite their 3-1 record compared to Tennessee’s 3-0 mark, the Colts improved from +140 odds to win the AFC South to now -105 and are the favorites in their division. Perhaps oddsmakers are concerned about the coronavirus outbreak in the Titans organization and how that will affect them going forward. Tennessee has their game against Pittsburgh postponed this week and now it looks like this week’s game against Buffalo is also in jeopardy. The Bears saw their odds to with the NFC North plummet from +240 to +330 as new starting quarterback Nick Foles did not provide the spark on offense that head coach Matt Nagy was hoping for.
