Per Adam Teicher's article on ESPN, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has cleared the concussion protocol and is eligible to play in the AFC Championship game on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. (Adam Teicher)

Betting Impact:

After fluctuating between -2.5 and -3 for much of the week, the Chiefs are now -3.5 point home favorites over the Bills, per BettingPros consensus odds. Thus, bettors were likely hesitant to bet the Chiefs early in the week as there was some uncertainty of whether or not Mahomes would be available. Now that the doubt has been removed, it will be interesting to see how high this line goes. Most sportsbooks are revealing that they have seen pretty equal betting action on both sides in this matchup thus far, so the line would not climb much higher if that continues.
