Per ESPN staff writer Jake Trotter, the Cleveland Browns have placed tight end David Njoku on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury in Week 1. League rules state a player on IR must miss a minimum of three games. (Jake Trotter- ESPN)

Betting Impact:

The Browns will be down one key weapon when they face the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. Though Cleveland added tight end Austin Hooper in the offseason, they were counting on production from Njoku out of two tight end sets. Njoku had three catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Hooper will now be backed up by rookie Harrison Bryant for the time being. The Browns are still six-point favorites, but the total has dropped from 44 to 43.5 in the last 24 hours.
