Browns open -12.5 over the Texans; O/U 48

The Cleveland Browns have opened as -12.5 point favorites in their Week 2 matchup against the Houston Texans. The over/under has also been set at 48 points.

Betting Impact:

The Browns are tied with the Buccaneers as the biggest point spread favorites on the Week 2 slate. Despite losing in Arrowhead to the Chiefs in Week 1, the Browns at one point were dominating the defending AFC champions, and Cleveland look every bit a contender to win the conference this year. Oddsmakers are apparently not buying Houston's Week 1 win over the Jaguars, especially since their game against Cleveland this week is on the road. Both of these teams' Week 1 games went soaring over the projected point total, so we will likely see the 48-point over/under climb some this week.
