Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey signed a four-year extension averaging $16M per year. That contract makes him the highest-paid running back in NFL history. McCaffrey was rewarded for his stellar play over the last three years. In 2019, McCaffrey led the league with 403 touches, 2,392 yards from scrimmage and 19 combined rushing and receiving touchdowns.
